Exclusive fires-up Julius Caesar picture

Exclusive Media Group is teaming with producers Gianni Nunnari and Mark Canton (300) on a possible franchise based on the life of Julius Caesar, adapted from Conn Iggulden’s "Emperor" series. William Broyles (Flags Of Our Fathers) has penned the script for the first film which focuses on Julius Caesar's early life.

It was also announced by Exclusive co-chairman Chris Ball that Newmarket Films has acquired domestic distribution rights to 3D animated family adventure The Flying Machine. Newmarket will release selected Exclusive titles, as well as third-party acquisitions. Newmarket’s 2010 roster kicked-off with Creation and continues with Agora at the end of May, followed by Sundance buzz-title Hesher in October.
