About Exclusive Media Group

Formed by strategic investment group Cyrte Investments in May 2008 as HS Media, Exclusive Media Group (Exclusive) is the parent company of Los Angeles based Spitfire Pictures and Newmarket Films, and of legendary British studio Hammer Films. The company also produces features under the Exclusive Films banner. Exclusive is run by Co-Chairmen Nigel Sinclair, Guy East and Chris Ball. Sinclair serves as group CEO, with East as Chairman of Exclusive Films International, Ball as President of Newmarket Films and Simon Oakes as group Vice-Chairman and President & CEO of Hammer.

Under Exclusive, Spitfire and Hammer operate as two separate production entities. Exclusive aims to produce 7-8 films per year and to acquire additional pictures for US distribution through Newmarket Films and for international sales & distribution through Exclusive Films International. The group also develops projects for television and digital platforms.

Exclusive Films is producing The Way Back, six-time Academy Award® nominee Peter Weir’s first film since his multiple Academy Award® winning Master And Commander: The Far Side Of The World, starring Russell Crowe.

Exclusive has over 550 titles in the combined Hammer, Spitfire and Newmarket libraries – managed by Exclusive Films International – and will pursue an aggressive library acquisition policy. The Hammer library is noted for its remake potential and the company is in discussions with A-list writers and directors to revive and re-imagine some of the highly touted titles.
